📋 Description

• Own the P&L and provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership to a software business or portfolio • Set strategic direction and drive sustained growth and profitability • Develop and implement business strategy across sales, marketing, R&D, customer service, professional services, and HR • Set growth objectives and lead execution with the Business Unit leadership team • Position the company strategically within its markets and align operations with long-term objectives • Improve scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence • Drive revenue growth through market expansion, cross-selling, and customer-focused strategies • Maintain strong customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and advocacy • Set market-aligned product strategies and roadmaps balancing innovation with stability • Foster innovation and technology adoption, including emerging tools such as AI • Ensure revenue growth, profitability, financial discipline, and long-term resilience • Translate financial insight into strategic and operational decisions • Meet or exceed revenue, EBITDA, ROI, and customer-retention metrics • Optimize capital allocation and ensure predictable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance • Build and sustain high-performing teams across all functions • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement • Inspire, motivate, and develop teams to achieve ambitious milestones • Lead through change, simplify complexity, remove roadblocks, and execute long-term strategies • Represent Tag Software Group leadership values through humility, empathy, strategic judgment, and an entrepreneurial mindset

🎯 Requirements

• Proven ability to own a P&L and deliver sustained growth, profitability, and scalability • Track record of driving market expansion, launching new products, or transforming businesses • Strong financial acumen and ability to make value-creating decisions • Experience building and leading executive-level teams • Comfort with emerging technologies, including AI • Exceptional communication and influence skills • Ability to simplify complexity, work through ambiguity, and make bold decisions • Resilience and adaptability under pressure • Prior experience managing a B2B software company preferred • Proven entrepreneurial mindset and pace-setter traits preferred • Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus • 8+ years of cross-functional leadership experience with P&L ownership preferred • Broad financial understanding, including P&L, BI tools, FP&A, and financial documents preferred • Experience developing customer acquisition and market-penetration strategies preferred • Ability to analyse and solve complex business problems preferred • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred
