📋 Description

• Lead the engineering charter to design and evolve an AI-ready context store across structured, unstructured, vector, and graph systems • Drive end-to-end delivery of high-scale ingestion and validation frameworks • Build contract-driven routing, storage, and serving layers • Develop multi-tenant isolation and noisy-neighbor resilience • Deliver search APIs with sub-second P95 response times • Operate systems targeting 99.99% availability • Define technical direction and simplify ambiguous problems • Engage deeply in architecture and systems design • Guide distributed-systems tradeoffs and review RFCs • Unblock critical issues and participate in technical decisions • Build and mentor high-performing engineers • Define engineering metrics, on-call practices, SLO discipline, and incident processes • Support a platform serving 100K+ users and billions of assets

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building or owning foundational data or platform systems at scale • Experience with data ingestion frameworks or lakehouse foundations • Experience with metadata, governance, or catalog platforms • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure and tenant isolation mechanisms • Experience with search, storage, or distributed serving layers • Experience with data quality, validation, or contract enforcement systems • Experience leading and scaling engineering teams, including managing managers • Strong depth in distributed systems and reliability • Experience with cloud-native architectures • Experience operating high-availability platforms with strict SLOs • Builder mindset and ability to work in ambiguity • Interest in AI-assisted development workflows and agentic systems • Systems thinking and people-first leadership
