📋 Description

• Maintain and evolve the team's microservices with a focus on stability and performance • Investigate and fix technical issues in microservices, including messaging, scheduling, and inter-service communication • Troubleshoot production errors involving GCP services, networking, and system integrations • Develop and maintain service and API integrations, ensuring consistency and scalability • Write automated tests as part of deliverables, using AI tools to accelerate development and increase coverage • Review and validate AI-generated code before deploying to production • Maintain documentation and service context for both people and AI agents • Participate in building generative AI solutions • Take part in code reviews, technical refinements, and architecture discussions • Collaborate with the team in agile ceremonies and pair programming sessions • Share learnings and contribute to the team's collective technical growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field • Proficiency in Python for backend development and microservices • Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ or Kafka) or asynchronous task orchestration (Celery, APScheduler, Faust, or Twisted) • Practical experience in production environments, including troubleshooting and technical incident investigation • Experience writing automated tests • Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, or similar • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code • Familiarity with monitoring and maintaining cloud systems • Ability to document technical decisions in a remote and asynchronous environment • Experience with agentic AI is a plus • Familiarity with Scrapy or Playwright is a plus • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus • Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, ADK, LangChain, or prompt engineering is a plus • Experience with messaging and task orchestration is a plus • Experience with large-scale messaging and complex integrations is a plus
