📋 Description

• Lead migration and deployment of backend systems into a highly available, multi-region AWS environment • Design and evolve scalable event-driven architecture solutions using Kafka • Build and maintain reliable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript • Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through Clean Architecture and engineering best practices • Collaborate with Web, Mobile, and Product teams to deliver technical solutions • Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, technical planning, and production releases • Identify technical risks and drive improvements in system performance, resilience, and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience • Expert proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript • Solid experience building and operating cloud-native, high-availability, multi-region solutions on AWS • Experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes • Deep expertise in event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL and/or PostgreSQL • Knowledge of Clean Architecture, design patterns, and maintainable coding practices • Strong communication and collaboration skills with Web, Mobile, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders • Native Spanish • Intermediate English • Experience in high-scale, high-transaction, or fintech environments, legacy-system modernization, and cloud-native AWS migrations • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices • Knowledge of distributed-system observability, monitoring, logging, incident management, code reviews, and technical documentation • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, or contributing to engineering standards
