📋 Description

• Administer and monitor databases, ensuring information performance, availability, and integrity • Perform data backup and restoration routines • Monitor and optimize queries, indexes, and processes to improve database performance • Control and monitor access, contributing to information security • Create and maintain reports and data integration and transformation (ETL) processes • Create and maintain database structures, such as tables, indexes, views, and queries • Identify and correct data inconsistencies, failures, and redundancies • Monitor performance indicators, identify incidents, and implement improvements • Keep databases up to date, secure, and aligned with system and user needs • Support data extraction and availability requests according to the needs of requesting departments

🎯 Requirements

• Completed or ongoing higher education in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields • Experience administering, maintaining, and monitoring databases • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL • Knowledge of SQL, including the creation and maintenance of tables, indexes, views, and queries • Knowledge of data backup and restoration, access control, and performance optimization • Experience with ETL processes, Report Services, cloud databases (AWS), and high-availability solutions is a plus
