• Develop and execute strategic plans for medical affairs initiatives • Provide leadership in shaping clinical strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of medical affairs activities • Oversee medical affairs activities, including medical communications, publications, and interactions with healthcare professionals • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards • Provide medical guidance and support to clinical development teams • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and timelines for medical affairs projects • Act as a key stakeholder in engaging with external partners, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
• Post-graduate degree in biological sciences • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in medical affairs leadership roles • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. • MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in genetics, molecular biology, pathology, or related field preferred • Deep expertise in clinical genetics, genomic testing, or molecular diagnostics, especially in rare genetic disease • Strong understanding of clinical validation, evidence generation, and scientific communications
