📋 Description

• Lead financial management operations for a US-based e-commerce client • Manage accounts payable, item-level inventory accounting, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting packages • Record and reconcile inventory movements, warehouse transfers, and inventory adjustments • Reconcile inventory between operational software and accounting records for accurate Balance Sheet valuation • Calculate, analyze, and present SKU-level COGS and profit margins • Prepare itemized P&L reports for product lines • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages, including P&L statements and Balance Sheets, in compliance with U.S. GAAP • Develop, maintain, and present regular and ad hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and account reconciliations for executive management • Maintain, streamline, and optimize cloud-based accounting and inventory management systems • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and client teams to ensure data integrity • Report directly to the client's designated manager and be supervised by Big Ideas Social Media Inc.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of proven, progressive accounting experience • Demonstrated proficiency in full-cycle general ledger, accounts payable, and inventory accounting • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, and complex financial models • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure • High level of professionalism and discretion • Organized, independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented team player • Proactive and able to take initiative without constant direction • Experience with US E-Commerce, CPG, DTC, or retail accounting workflows preferred • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and inventory management tools preferred • Experience using AI tools or advanced automation scripts preferred • Eligible to legally work as a remote freelancer or contractor based in the Philippines • Natural-born Filipino citizen or foreigner with a working visa or permit to legally work in the Philippines • Own computer or laptop capable of handling complex datasets and multi-application workflows • Fast and reliable home internet connection of at least 200-300 MBPS • Quiet and distraction-free home work environment • Willingness to work graveyard shifts or changing US schedules • Availability for 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday • Overtime must be pre-approved by the client
