📋 Description

• Lead Blattner's preconstruction and estimating strategy for utility-scale solar projects • Drive the pursuit of profitable, executable work while developing a high-performing estimating organization • Provide strategic leadership across estimating, procurement, engineering, supply chain, commercial operations, and construction • Ensure every proposal is technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with business objectives • Shape how to win work while building lasting client relationships • Continuously improve preconstruction processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of leadership experience in estimating, preconstruction, procurement, or construction management, preferably supporting utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects. • Strong understanding of engineering collaboration, construction techniques, estimating methodologies, procurement, financial modeling, contract negotiations, and project execution. • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. • Experience managing complex pursuits, developing competitive estimating strategies, and mitigating commercial and technical risk. • Strong business acumen with the ability to build client relationships, negotiate effectively, and support business development efforts. • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/construction software such as HCSS and Primavera P6 is preferred. • Willingness to travel as business needs require.
