📋 Description

• Design and develop mechanical (HVAC), electrical (power, lighting, low-voltage), and plumbing systems from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration phases. • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, duct/pipe sizing, lighting calculations, and power distribution design using industry-standard software (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, ElumTools, AGI32, etc.). • Ensure full compliance with California Title 24, Part 6 (Energy Code) — including prescriptive and performance paths, electric-ready buildings, heat pump integration, solar PV readiness, and ventilation standards. • Support energy modeling efforts and prepare Title 24 compliance documentation (NRCC forms, certificates of compliance).

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering Design and Drafting. • Strong working knowledge of California Title 24 (especially Part 6 Energy Code). • Proficiency in Revit MEP (BIM modeling) — required; experience with AutoCAD a plus. • Familiarity with energy modeling tools (CBECC-Res, EnergyPro, IESVE, etc.) strongly preferred.
