• Responsible for management of the Decision Support (cost accounting) system for the hospital and affiliated medical group • Oversee service line analytics and growth strategies across Boston Medical Center • Act as a key consultant to finance and operational leaders on the requirements of new businesses and programs • Serve as critical support throughout implementation • Develop consistent and accurate analysis and business proposals using data driven solutions and proactive planning • Assist in development of robust hospital service line analytics and benchmarks • Train and mentor junior staff across the Service Line Planning and Business Development team • Develop best practices for the department
• Bachelor’s Degree required • Master’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics), Public Health, Public Administration or Health Administration preferred • 7+ years of healthcare managerial or consulting experience or other related field • Experience working with healthcare reimbursement and cost accounting required • Revenue modeling and business intelligence software preferred • Prior supervisory experience required
