📋 Description

• Develop image-guided surgery applications for cranial, ENT and CMF surgeries • Participate in the software development process from initial idea through final product launch • Design, develop and maintain software components and applications in C++, JavaScript and HTML5/React • Collaborate with application engineers and implement human-machine interfaces with clinical and usability experts • Work with software engineering specialists to design, specify and create flexible, efficient and sustainable software architecture • Use AI language models and maintain or create agents to support productivity and code quality • Work across user interfaces, 3D rendering, specialized 3D geometric algorithms and software architecture • Collaborate with hardware, software and clinical application engineers in a multidisciplinary team • Integrate software with surgical microscopes, ultrasound devices, robotic arms and intraoperative CT/MR scanners • Potentially participate in joint coding with Brainlab's partners

🎯 Requirements

• Education in Computer Science, Computer Visualization, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline • Strong object-oriented programming skills • C++ as the primary programming language • Preferably confident with C#, JavaScript and HTML5, including JavaScript React • Familiarity with AI models for daily work and agents for more complex tasks is beneficial • Experience in medical imaging and DICOM, 3D visualization, network communication, or robotics is beneficial but not mandatory • Fluent English • Eagerness to learn German • Ability to communicate with colleagues from around the world and different areas of specialty
