• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, Custom Applications) in support of federal clients. • Translate business requirements and technical specifications into scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow configurations and custom development. • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts), integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), and UI components within the ServiceNow platform. • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with agency mission goals and federal compliance standards. • Oversee and contribute to unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality, reliable code. • Serve as a technical mentor and peer reviewer for junior developers, sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to coding standards. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, while contributing to technical documentation and knowledge transfer. • Support ongoing optimization by recommending platform enhancements, process automation opportunities, and roadmap improvements based on ServiceNow capabilities and federal agency needs.
• U.S. Citizenship is required • Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one • ITIL Foundations Certification • ServiceNow Application Developer Certification • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field • 5+ years experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of an ITSM tool. • 4+ years experience in ServiceNow development – experience should include scripting, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration, and deployment; specifically, candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications • 5+ years with working or developing in any one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, PHP, C, Java, Perl, HTML or HTML 5. • Generating detailed documentation.
