Bridge API is a European open-banking and payments platform that provides developer-friendly APIs to initiate bank transfers, payment links, and bulk payouts, and to aggregate and enrich bank account data. It offers IBAN-based identity verification, solvency/creditworthiness evaluation, continuous automated bank reconciliation, and a catalogue of PIS/AIS connectors, while maintaining PSD2/ACPR compliance and strong security controls. Bridge primarily serves business customers — accounting and ERP software, payroll and HR systems, e‑commerce and marketplaces, fintechs, lenders and property managers — to automate payments, reduce fraud, and streamline financial workflows.

📋 Description

• Gradually ramp up expertise on our primary stack Node.js/TypeScript dedicated to banking connectors (account information services - AIS & payment initiation services - PIS). • Participate in the design, development and maintenance of our B2B Open Banking API (BridgeApi) implemented in Java 25 / Spring Boot 4 and of our React frontends. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services (performance, security, scalability, robustness). • Work closely with the Product Owner, Tech Lead and Architect to design durable technical solutions within a coherent priority framework. • Be involved in our unified SRE vision: production monitoring, proactive incident management, continuous reliability improvements, in direct collaboration with the support team. • Take part in common team rituals: technical upskilling, code reviews, knowledge sharing. • Maintain clear, useful and up-to-date technical documentation. • Contribute to the setup and evolution of our Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience on a backend stack with Java/Spring and/or Node.js/TypeScript (preferably the latter) • Basic development experience with React and integrating web interfaces • Good understanding of REST APIs, security and automated testing • Proficient with everyday tools: Git, CI/CD, ticketing systems, Notion… • You are autonomous, meticulous and communicate clearly • You have your preferences but remain open to other technologies that meet the expressed needs
