📋 Description

• Manage all local accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial control activities. • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory obligations, and regulatory financial reporting requirements. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost management processes. • Oversee treasury activities, liquidity management, and cash flow forecasting. • Support regulatory capital, safeguarding, and other financial obligations applicable to VASP and EMI operations. • Maintain effective internal controls, financial governance, and financial risk management processes. • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulators. • Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to support business decisions. • Support strategic projects, licence applications, and new business initiatives from a financial perspective.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred. • 6+ years of finance, accounting, or financial management experience within banking, payments, fintech, financial services, or digital asset businesses. • Strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and internal controls. • Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements. • Must be a citizen of El Salvador and maintain primary residence in El Salvador, available to perform the role locally on a full-time basis. • Fluency in Spanish and English.
