âą Design, implement, and maintain user interface functionality using C++, Qt 6, Qt Quick, and QML âą Take technical ownership of complex features from requirements and design through implementation, integration, testing, and delivery âą Design reusable and scalable QML components âą Integrate QML user interfaces with C++ backend components, services, device data, and embedded hardware âą Make technical design decisions considering maintainability, performance, resource constraints, and delivery risks âą Investigate and resolve crashes, memory issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration defects across application and embedded target layers âą Design and implement asynchronous and multithreaded application components âą Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, estimation, planning, architecture discussions, and risk assessment âą Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, backend developers, and customer representatives âą Mentor less experienced engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing âą Identify improvements in engineering processes, tools, and development practices
âą 3+ years of commercial C++ development experience âą Strong hands-on experience with Qt 6, Qt Quick, and QML âą Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++17/20), object lifetime, memory management, RAII, concurrency, and software design principles âą Experience developing UI applications for embedded Linux devices âą Strong understanding of C++/QML integration (signals & slots, properties, bindings, object ownership, exposing C++ objects and models to QML) âą Practical Linux experience (SSH, shell, logs, processes, deployment, debugging) âą Experience using CMake as the primary build system âą Experience writing and maintaining automated unit tests âą Strong debugging and problem-solving skills âą Experience working in Agile development teams âą Upper-Intermediate or higher English âą Experience with Yocto or other Embedded Linux build systems would be a plus âą Experience with Wayland, EGLFS, LinuxFB, or similar embedded display backends would be a plus âą Experience with D-Bus or other IPC technologies would be a plus âą Experience with Qt Concurrent, QFuture, or similar asynchronous APIs would be a plus âą Experience with Google Test / Google Mock would be a plus âą Experience with GDB, Valgrind, sanitizers, QML Profiler, or similar debugging tools would be a plus âą Experience optimizing Qt/QML applications for devices with limited CPU, memory, or graphics resources would be a plus âą Experience working closely with UI/UX designers and implementing Figma-based designs would be a plus âą Experience with IoT, HVAC, Smart Home, or other embedded device-oriented products would be a plus
