📋 Description

• Maintain accounting records for assigned entities and ensure accurate recognition of transactions • Prepare monthly management accounts and reconciliations • Support month-end and year-end closing • Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations • Coordinate with local accounting and tax advisors in different jurisdictions • Prepare information for VAT, corporate tax, and statutory reporting • Review calculations prepared by external advisors • Support statutory audits and maintain proper accounting documentation • Communicate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Legal, and other teams • Explain accounting matters clearly and provide practical, business-oriented solutions • Take ownership of assigned areas, identify issues, and drive them through to resolution • Contribute to improvements in accounting processes, controls, and automation • Identify opportunities to use AI and other tools where they bring practical value

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of practical experience in Accounting, preferably in an international or multi-entity environment • Experience with EU entities • Solid practical knowledge of accounting principles and the full accounting cycle • Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and management reporting • Practical understanding of VAT and basic corporate tax concepts • Ability to critically review work prepared by external accountants and tax advisors • Strong practical experience with 1C • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting systems • Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work and openness to adopting new AI-based solutions • English level Upper-Intermediate or higher, sufficient for independent professional communication • Experience with UK and US entities would be a plus • Experience working in an international group of companies would be a plus • Experience supporting statutory audits for multiple jurisdictions would be a plus • Background in process improvement, automation, or implementation of new accounting tools would be a plus • Clear communication and ability to explain complex accounting topics in a simple and structured way • Client-oriented mindset • Strong sense of ownership and proactivity • Good judgment and ability to prioritize • Critical thinking • Learning agility • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and external advisors across different locations
