📋 Description

• Independently own and navigate a large backend ecosystem consisting of multiple services with minimal ramp-up support • Develop and maintain backend services using Golang • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions • Analyze legacy and unreviewed code to identify technical debt, systemic issues, and architectural risks • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement, proposing and implementing solutions • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical objectives and execute roadmap initiatives • Advocate for architectural improvements and negotiate technical decisions with peer engineering teams • Contribute to long-term platform evolution while balancing short-term business priorities • Ensure reliability and performance of high-load production systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience • Strong proficiency in Golang • Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and system design • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, from planning and objective-setting to delivery and support • Proven experience working with high-load, high-traffic production systems • Solid understanding of scalable and maintainable backend architecture principles • Ability to independently work with large and unfamiliar codebases • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues before escalation • Experience aligning technical solutions with business and customer needs • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate technical direction with engineering stakeholders • Upper-Intermediate English level
