📋 Description

• You will join the Cognitive Finance Platform Engineering team, responsible for building and evolving AI solutions that support financial decision-making at scale at Itaú Unibanco. • Develop domain APIs (e.g., accounting close status, analytical queries) • Build and maintain MCP servers that expose capabilities to agents • Ensure clear, versioned, and documented contracts for each tool • Implement circuit breakers, rate limiting, and retry patterns in integrations • Ensure secure calls (granular AuthZ — the agent inherits the user’s permissions)

🎯 Requirements

• Python and/or Java/Kotlin, API design, integration patterns • MCP (Model Context Protocol): building MCP servers, exposing tools and resources • AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS for asynchronous orchestration • Integration: REST, gRPC, resilience patterns (circuit breaker, bulkhead, timeout) • Security: resource/action-level AuthZ, identity propagation (Azure AD), principle of least privilege • Consumption of data from corporate platforms (Redshift, Athena, data APIs) • Desired: Event-driven architecture (Kafka, EventBridge) • Knowledge of the banking/financial domain and its data sources • Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform) • Caching strategies (ElastiCache, DAX)
