• Create engaging, trend-driven short-form video content to grow Carry1st’s social media following and engagement across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X. • Work closely with the growth team to produce organic and paid video content tied to in-game live ops, seasonal events, and regional campaigns. • Own the content calendar, handling both planning and execution to keep a consistent, high-quality posting schedule across all platforms. • Post static and video content across Carry1st’s social channels and report on key metrics to track performance and sharpen the content strategy over time
• 1–2+ years of experience creating social media content, with a portfolio of short-form video work and the ability to share examples or links to content you have created • Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut, along with comfort using basic static design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator. • A genuine passion for the gaming industry, especially mobile games and African gaming culture. • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X content trends, including how to make content feel native to each platform and localise global gaming trends for African audiences. • A data-informed approach to content, with the ability to evaluate performance, report on results, and improve future output. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently • Experience with ad optimization is a bonus
