📋 Description

• Prepare monthly PD allocations and ensure they are accurately recorded and supported • Complete the monthly deferred revenue reconciliation and investigate any identified discrepancies • Perform the initial review of monthly revenue for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with grant terms and accounting policies • Monitor and manage the financial aspects of grants and contracts • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including financial reporting, budget restrictions, and allowable costs • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant-related financial transactions • Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports to grantors and funding agencies • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Provide financial data and analysis to program leadership and the finance team as needed • Assist in the development of grant budgets and financial forecasts • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis • Work with program managers to ensure budget adherence and identify potential financial issues • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) for federal grants • Prepare for and assist with grant audits, including providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries • Act as a resource for other grant accountants by providing guidance on procedures, compliance, and reporting requirements • Track and report on restricted and unrestricted funds • Prepare and submit invoices and reimbursement requests to grantors • Manage the financial closeout process for grants and contracts • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls related to grant management • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures • Process grant-related invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner • Manage grant receivables, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations • Work closely with program leadership, finance team members, and other stakeholders to support grant administration • Communicate grant-related financial information to relevant parties clearly and concisely

🎯 Requirements

• Preferred experience with grant billing 3-4 years • Minimum 2-3 years of General Ledger Experience • Experience providing guidance, or day-to-day support to other accounting staff • Organized and detail-oriented • Problem-Solving/Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies • Demonstrated passion for social and racial justice • Willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, all hands-on-deck environment • Ability to work collaboratively with people of diverse personal and professional backgrounds with a focus on social and racial justice, and equity
