Center for Black Educator Development is an organization launched in June 2019 that aims to rebuild the Black teacher pipeline to achieve educational equity and racial justice. It focuses on dramatically increasing the number of Black educators so Black and other disenfranchised students benefit from quality public education. The organization promotes revolutionary Black educators, culturally responsive and anti-discriminatory teaching practices, and policy changes to remove systemic constraints on education.
