📋 Description

• Develop and execute sustainable category sourcing strategies • Champion strategic sourcing initiatives • Lead category management for key spend areas • Build relationships with senior business stakeholders • Lead complex supplier negotiations and manage pricing agreements • Manage supplier contracts and conduct compliance reviews • Oversee supplier performance across key categories • Ensure procurement activities meet regulatory, policy, and ethical standards • Minimize supply chain risk and potential disruptions • Establish and monitor procurement KPIs • Report procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance metrics to senior leadership • Support Global Procurement leadership in finding, contracting, and developing timber supply projects • Support project management of a forestry and industrial project in Tabasco, Mexico • Deliver timber-related projects identified by the global office • Develop new global sources of timber supply • Identify and map TIMOs, REITs, and plantation management companies • Assess and recommend timber suppliers across the Americas • Support execution of contracts or SLAs with selected partners

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with sustainable category sourcing strategies • Strategic sourcing and category management expertise • Data-driven procurement and market intelligence skills • Advanced procurement techniques • Supplier negotiation and pricing strategy experience • Supplier contract management and compliance • Supplier performance management • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards • Supply chain risk management • Procurement KPI development and reporting • Experience working with TIMOs, timberland REITs, and plantation management companies • Forestry and sawmilling project management experience • Ability to assess timber suppliers across multiple regions in the Americas
