âą Help translate user interfaces of all Chesscom apps (Chesscom, Chesscom Mobile, ChessKid, ChessKid Mobile, Dr Wolf, etc). âą Help translate marketing campaigns. âą Help translate Coach analysis / Game Review. âą Help translate bot chat for monthly bot events. âą Translate & edit graphical assets. âą Review previously submitted translations and ensure they're high quality.
đŻ Requirements
âą Native or near-native fluency in both English and German. âą Proven professional experience in translating complex texts between English and German. âą Exceptional linguistic knowledge, including a strong grasp of language theory and structure. âą Basic graphic editing skills. âą Demonstrated expertise in chess with a deep understanding of its terminology. âą Excellent communication skills with a high degree of responsiveness and the ability to work effectively on collaborative platforms like Slack. âą Proven ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines, occasionally within a 24-48 hour turnaround time (sometimes including weekends/holidays).
