📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation frameworks across web, API, and backend platforms • Serve as technical authority on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices • Evaluate and integrate automated tools and technologies into the test infrastructure • Drive test code quality, structure, maintainability, and code reviews • Design and execute performance, load, and other non-functional tests • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Partner with development and product teams to implement shift-left testing practices, quality gates, and coverage metrics • Debug complex system failures and identify root causes in application code and test infrastructure • Coach and mentor junior and mid-level SDETs and software engineers • Create and maintain documentation for test strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices • Contribute to the long-term quality roadmap and technology choices with Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Playwright automation framework • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript • Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline architectures • Comprehensive knowledge of REST API testing methodologies and tools • Exceptional communication and articulation capabilities • Ability to provide constructive challenge and articulate perspectives confidently in technical forums • Advanced analytical capabilities to identify trends and patterns in defect data • Commitment to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and innovative testing methodologies • Patience and composure in complex technical environments • Strong engineering mindset and exceptional problem-solving ability • Ability to function as an expert end-user and translate business requirements into technical solutions • Established leadership and thought leadership credentials within quality engineering • Experience mentoring and coaching engineers • Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban • Proficiency in DevOps practices and Docker/containerization • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure • Technical proficiency with K6 load testing framework • Experience with Jenkins or Harness • Experience with JMeter for performance and load testing
