📋 Description

• Partner with the Regional Sales Managers, Directors and Partners to pursue new business opportunities by delivering technical product presentations, architecture design diagrams, product evaluation installations and on-going technical consultation to our prospects and customers. • Analyze and understand customer requirements or pain points to translate how Lancope’s solutions can be applied to meet their needs. • Keep abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies in order to best position Lancope in the marketplace. • Develop, present, and/or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. • Provide product feature input to product management to influence future development.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Systems Sales Engineer or in a similar sales engineering role at a data network vendor, DPI equipment vendor, security vendor, service provider or network security company. • 6+ years of related technical experience, installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network. • Proven track record of helping sales account managers close deals with Fortune 1000 customers. • Proven ability to provide hands on technical product demonstrations and training. • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls. • Strong understanding of network security including, DDoS, Firewall, IDS, IPS, anti-virus and common exploits. • Solid understanding of IP network design/operation. • Excellent Presentation, written, and verbal skills. • Ability to travel 25-30% of time.
