📋 Description

• Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications • Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies • Support month-end and year-end closing activities • Review financial information and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions • Work closely with internal teams and U.S.-based stakeholders to resolve accounting issues • Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation • Ensure accounting activities comply with internal policies and applicable accounting principles • Assist with financial reporting and other accounting-related tasks • Identify process improvements and contribute to more efficient accounting processes • Handle ad-hoc accounting requests and additional GL-related activities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 4–10 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or general accounting • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and GL processes • Hands-on experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours • Prior experience working with U.S. companies or clients highly preferred
