📋 Description

• Develop and evolve the core product using Ruby on Rails or Go. • Implement innovative features that add value to the solution. • Write high-quality code and implement AI-powered solutions. • Integrate AI models to optimize processes. • Define and evolve the architecture of integration systems. • Make technical decisions regarding the technology stack, standards, and trade-offs. • Ensure technical consistency across services, modules, and integrations. • Provide technical leadership to the team, including technical guidance for frontend team members. • Serve as a reference for coding, design, and debugging. • Mentor backend and frontend engineers at different levels. • Define and maintain standards for code quality, testing, and observability. • Lead code reviews, refactoring, and technical design documentation. • Support the decomposition of complex problems into incremental deliverables. • Identify technical risks early and support estimation and planning. • Collaborate with PMs and Designers to design technically viable solutions. • Assess technical cost versus delivered value and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. • Support production operations and reliability, including critical incidents. • Continuously improve MTTR, availability, and resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably using Ruby on Rails or Go. • At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership or serving as a squad’s technical lead. • Strong knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL or MySQL, and efficient data modeling. • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS. • Strong knowledge of Datadog/Grafana and messaging technologies such as Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka. • Proficiency in automated testing, RSpec or similar tools, SOLID principles, and design patterns. • Experience developing scalable RESTful APIs and strong knowledge of Git/Linux. • Familiarity with LLM integration, AI frameworks, or the development of data-driven features. • Experience with system architecture and technical decision-making in contexts involving trade-offs among performance, cost, security, and maintainability. • Sufficient frontend familiarity to review architectural decisions, discuss trade-offs, and ensure efficient backend–frontend integration. • Technical leadership skills to mentor other developers. • Autonomy, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset. • Critical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems. • Excellent communication skills. • Preferred: experience integrating systems, third-party APIs, webhooks, CRMs/ERPs, or connector platforms. • Preferred: experience providing technical support to corporate/enterprise accounts, gathering requirements, and adapting solutions without compromising maintainability.
