📋 Description

• Implement, test, and deliver new features and improvements in the Cloudera Streaming product domain • Build containers, operators, and jobs running on Kubernetes to integrate distributed data platform solutions into Cloudera’s containerized product family • Contribute across the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable software • Master the delivery pipeline to ensure frequent and reliable delivery using AI and modern engineering tools • Collaborate with product management, support, UX, and documentation teams on successful agile projects • Provide support to field teams and customers, facilitating product adoption, implementation, and troubleshooting • Ship production code, integrate components, and deliver APIs for data-heavy applications on the Cloudera streaming stack • Contribute upstream to open-source technologies and improve security, performance, and cross-environment deployment

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience with Apache Flink • Project experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Operators, and CRDs • Deep expertise in Java and strong familiarity with Spring, Quarkus, Hibernate, Maven, and Gradle • Good understanding of software design and architecture principles • Ability to produce clean, maintainable, high-quality software • Experience with delivery pipeline tools, CI/CD solutions, automated testing, and agentic development • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience • Strong written and verbal English and communication skills • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous • Familiarity with Apache Kafka, NiFi, or Spark is advantageous • Expertise in Scala, Python, or Go is advantageous • Experience with React, HTML, and CSS is advantageous • Ability to design and implement delivery pipelines is advantageous
