📋 Description

• Set technical direction and design standards for distributed, cloud-native systems across multiple teams • Own the reliability, performance, and security posture of critical production systems, primarily in Go • Drive the evolution of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices across the engineering organization • Define and uphold organization-wide standards for reliability, security, and observability • Lead high-stakes architectural decisions and technical debt strategy shaping multi-quarter roadmaps • Serve as the senior technical voice in complex client engagements • Design solutions and proofs-of-concept for demanding integrations • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design documents, and organization-wide technical guidance

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex, distributed software systems at scale • Deep mastery of Go (Golang), including idiomatic, concurrent, and performant code • Expert-level cloud-native proficiency with Kubernetes and Terraform/CloudFormation • Deep expertise with AWS or GCP managed services, networking, and cloud security at scale • Strong distributed systems architecture experience, including microservices, asynchronous messaging, and data consistency • Extensive CI/CD automation and observability stack experience, including New Relic, Prometheus, or ELK • Proven ability to lead complex client-facing technical conversations and translate roadmaps for non-technical stakeholders • Strong track record mentoring senior engineers and shaping engineering culture across teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation pipelines, and model quality/reliability techniques is preferred
