📋 Description

• Enhance the team’s capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of each sprint • Ensure Core Values are reflected throughout the project, QA team, and department • Perform automated testing and API testing for complex applications and scenarios • Locate and document edge cases, assess risks, and propose acceptance-criteria modifications • Apply automation, API testing, and accessibility testing principles and solutions • Document anticipated risks and blockers, advance best practices, and mentor peers and junior team members • Serve as a technical subject-matter expert during sprints • Prioritize testing efforts and enhance acceptance criteria to support sprint commitments • Conduct recruiting interviews and assess candidates for hiring or contracting • Present testing plans, metrics, insights, and direction during sprint reviews • Propose client solutions and improvements that increase delivery value • Ensure the team understands acceptance criteria and track daily progress • Limit QA kickback, deliver assigned stories, and identify opportunities to increase capacity and velocity • Coordinate with delivery leads on priorities, team allocation, and risks • Act as the technical client interface, guiding stakeholders without excessive technical jargon

🎯 Requirements

• Employees may live in Mexico, Colombia, or El Salvador • Genuine fluency writing complex T-SQL from scratch • Daily SQL fundamentals including duplicates, joins, primary versus surrogate keys, query execution order, and reconciliation • Experience validating ETL and data warehouse source-to-target data, transformations, completeness, and end-to-end flows against specifications and mapping documents • Strong QA methodology, including test cases, test plans, test strategy, positive/negative testing, performance and load testing, and data completeness testing • Comfortable testing SSRS and Power BI outputs against SQL queries • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, data warehouse, SSRS, and Power BI • Azure data sources, SSAS cubes, and version control are bonus points • 5–8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects • Experience leading and executing automated testing for web and mobile applications • Experience using industry-standard tools across the software development lifecycle • Experience presenting to client stakeholders and communicating technical and business value • Experience understanding and articulating business outcomes affected by development projects • Coaching and mentoring experience through ad-hoc collaboration and structured code reviews • Relevant education may include intensive programs, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience • Alignment with Praxent’s stated Core Values and a CAN DO mentality
