• Partner with business stakeholders and the internal Engineering team to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Assist in creating release notes and maintaining project and implementation documentation, requirements artifacts, process flows, and user guides to ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Support the Product Manager/Product Owner in managing the product backlog and help ensure delivered functionality meets documented business requirements • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions that align with modernization objectives • Complete new hire orientation training and meet with external counterparts and stakeholders across the org • Identify and meet with key federal partners, leads, and internal cross-functional peers to understand their pain points and expectations • Become familiar with recurring processes, workflows, and stakeholder/business requirements • Take ownership of tasks such as developing and maintaining documentation, process and user guides, etc. • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, etc. • Begin supporting the Product Manager/Owner in managing the product backlog • Identify learning and development opportunities and work with your manager to establish a professional development plan for yourself • Operate as a fully integrated member of the team and assume full responsibility and accountability for all functions associated with the role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Business/Product/Systems Analyst role • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, etc.) • Experience defining data and business process requirements and able to break down large, complex problems into actionable, testable steps • Understanding of the principles, theories, and concepts of Agile software development life cycle • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written and verbal and/or with the use of assistive tech as needed) with strong technical writing skills • Excellent time management and organization skills and the ability to effectively adapt to changing timelines and requirements as needed • Full-time resident of the contiguous United States (must be legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship) • Ability to pass a Public Trust background check and any applicable background and/or security checks related to project requirements
• Internet: Will prioritize and maintain access to strong, reliable internet for the remote nature of our work, except when on vacation or holiday. • Security: Will keep the highest security practices to ensure privacy and security of Coforma and client information, given the nature of our work, even when on vacation. • Travel Flexibility: On request and with advanced notice, will attend in-person events such as meetings, workshops, and trainings as assigned for projects that require it. • Brand Representation: Will represent Coforma professionally and sincerely, modeling our Company Values in all interactions.
