📋 Description

• Lead Engineering teams in a dynamic, collaborative, and results-oriented environment • Actively contribute to developing full-stack solutions, writing high-quality code as part of the squad’s day-to-day work • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical decision-making • Help resolve complex technical problems and remove blockers for the team • Prototype, validate, and evolve architectural solutions based on product and business context • Stay up to date with the technologies used in the team’s stack • Define and track technical efficiency and quality metrics • Work with Product and Design leadership to align technical initiatives with strategic objectives • Support Tech References and developers in their technical growth and establish engineering best practices • Manage team capacity and technical prioritization • Adjust squad rituals and workflows with a focus on continuous improvement • Balance delivery, quality, speed, and team development • Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing • Lead management rituals and lead, develop, and mentor Engineering teams • Plan promotions and scope adjustments based on clear criteria • Foster psychological safety, autonomy, ownership, transparency, and collaboration • Structure teams, recruitment, onboarding, and career development • Act as a guardian of the company culture and align team and organizational objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or senior technical leader in digital product teams • Genuinely hands-on profile, with a track record of technical leadership and practical coding contributions • Strong track record as a full-stack developer • Practical expertise in front-end and back-end development, with hands-on experience using the team’s technology stack • Experience with distributed systems architecture, microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and automated testing • Proficiency with AI tools applied to software development, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools • Familiarity with language models and their integration into products and engineering workflows • Ability to balance direct technical contribution with strategic decision-making • Proven experience leading development teams and/or supporting engineers’ technical growth • Knowledge of and experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative practices, such as Agile, Kanban, and Scrum • Strong communication and influencing skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience structuring teams, managing performance, and creating development plans • Preferred: experience in scale-ups or rapidly growing companies • Preferred: experience in healthtech or regulated industries • Preferred: participation in engineering culture initiatives, such as chapters, guilds, tech radars, and tech talks • Preferred: experience with complex integrations and high transaction volumes • Preferred: track record of implementing quality practices, such as automated testing, structured code reviews, and monitoring • Preferred: ability to work across both front-end and back-end development
