📋 Description

• Lead a small team of data engineers supporting fast-moving newsrooms • Architect solutions that drive business impact • Participate in and oversee development of data pipelines • Scale Courier’s data infrastructure for the future • Understand business needs and translate them into value for stakeholders • Contribute to pipeline codebases when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Python development and debugging • Data Pipeline management: Data modeling, orchestration, transformation, and query optimization at scale • Data extraction with REST APIs, web scraping • Public Cloud management: understanding of billing and monitoring, GCP preferred • Application architecture: fundamental knowledge of app development and scaling for delivering data • Training in Agile methodology is preferred
