📋 Description

• Investigate, inspect, evaluate, and pay Federal Crop and Crop Hail Claims • Review the client's policy and determine coverage levels • Make contact with the client within 24 hours and explain claims procedures • Set inspection date/time and inspect the damage • Determine cause of loss and evaluate the damages • Calculate the amount of damages and issue payment • Communicate and negotiate with individuals regarding investigation and settlement of claims • Adjust all federal crop claims in the American Farm Bureau Insurance Services CAP estimating system

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training • Requires a valid driver's license for all levels • Federal Crop Certification for P2-P4 • Typically requires climbing and or walking fields in all weather conditions • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs • May be required to travel with overnight or extended stay as needed • Must live in or around the following Illinois counties: Mercer/Henry/Rock Island
