📋 Description

• Direct 3–5 low- to medium-risk, cross-functional IT finance projects from planning through completion • Assemble project teams, develop work plans, and manage expectations, deliverables, and results • Manage project scope, cost, schedule, staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables • Track milestones and adjust project plans or resources to maintain customer commitments • Communicate project status, risks, financial impacts, and dependencies to stakeholders and executive leadership • Manage project financials, budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis • Identify, resolve, and mitigate project issues and risks; establish contingency plans • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and maintain relationships with internal customers, vendors, and senior management • Coordinate team activities, provide performance feedback, and ensure milestones are achieved • Support information requests, vendor RFP processes, training materials, operational tasks, reports, and databases • Track metrics, gather lessons learned, and drive process improvement • Provide recommendations to Portfolio/Program Managers and support senior project managers on larger projects and programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field • PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred • 5+ years of project management experience • 8+ years of related IT or business experience • 5+ years of experience implementing project life cycle methodologies • Strong analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis of finance technology investments • Experience influencing and managing project teams without formal direct reporting relationships • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with complex interdependencies • Deep understanding of finance processes, systems, and regulatory requirements • Knowledge of integrations between finance systems and enterprise platforms • Ability to build consensus and drive alignment among finance, IT, and business stakeholders • Expert vendor management skills • Exceptional communication skills for reporting project status, risks, and financial impacts to executive leadership • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and escalate issues appropriately • Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional finance technology projects from inception to completion • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement, SAP, Workday, or other finance technologies • Expertise identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in finance technology implementations • Experience managing change in regulated environments such as SOX and GDPR • Ability to develop and execute contingency plans for critical finance systems • Experience gathering lessons learned and driving process improvement • Home office setup supporting stationary, on-camera work 90% of the workday, including an HD webcam, hardwired high-speed internet, and stationary workstation • Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours regardless of location
