📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems • Develop software applications independently or as part of a team with little instruction • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with minimal guidance • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers • Clarify ambiguous requirements into structured, testable details such as edge cases and constraints • Define edge cases and failure modes upfront • Develop and consume APIs, including AI APIs, to integrate AI capabilities into existing software • Validate AI-generated code for security, performance, and correctness • Use AI coding assistants in an iterative AI-human development process • Write testable, modular code and participate in unit and integration testing • Work within documented change controls and compliance-sensitive environments • Participate in requirements and technical specification reviews • Collaborate across Development, QA, Operations, and Product teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience • 3+ years of software development experience • Strong experience with .NET/C# and React • Experience with Python, AWS, Oracle, and PostgreSQL • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks • Deep knowledge of software architecture and system design • Experience working from functional and technical requirements, including incomplete or ambiguous requirements • Understanding of API contracts and interface design from consumer and producer perspectives • Familiarity with versioned contract design and backward compatibility • Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools • Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for security, performance, correctness, and maintainability • Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals, including structured prompts and refinement loops • Understanding of AI limitations and hallucination risks • Experience with AWS deployment and CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with observability and logging best practices • Experience in compliance-sensitive or regulated environments, including auditability, traceability, and documented change controls • Experience working effectively within small, cross-functional feature teams • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English in a business environment
