📋 Description

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on engines and related components at customer sites • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using service tools, equipment, software, and guided workflows • Repair, disassemble, inspect, replace, and assemble engine or power-generation components • Validate completed repairs and confirm products operate as expected • Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues • Document troubleshooting, repairs, technical findings, service outcomes, worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims • Monitor live fault codes and resolve select issues by phone or escalate them to dealerships • Create cases, assign tasks, track critical fault codes, and issue daily reports and analysis • Answer inbound customer calls and provide assistance through toll-free phone, email, chat, and PCC • Update customer cases and closure information in Cummins systems and Salesforce • Provide information on dealerships, parts depots, service networks, parts, spares, training, and technical literature • Follow up with field offices and process owners to resolve customer issues • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment • Follow HSE policies and use required PPE • Support dealership and field service teams 24x7 as required

🎯 Requirements

• Vocational Diploma / ITI or equivalent qualification from a relevant technical institution • Technical qualification in Mechanical, Automobile, Diesel, Electrical, or a related field • Locally valid driving licence/permit is required • Basic hands-on knowledge of engines and related products • Minimal workshop-related experience is required • Strong mechanical fundamentals and basic electrical knowledge • Hands-on troubleshooting and repair capability • Ability to work independently at customer locations • Ability to accurately document service activities and technical findings • Flexible to work rotational shifts in 24x7 operations, including night, morning, and afternoon shifts • Open to working on weekends and public holidays • Ability to use electronic service tools and diagnostic equipment • Ability to follow HSE policies, procedures, legislation, and PPE requirements
