📋 Description

• Develops and implements sales strategies to sell products and services to new large group accounts in an assigned business segment, product, or geography • Performs business development activities in pursuit of new growth channels and identifies potential new clients in a specified territory or geographic area • Manages complex negotiations and consults on challenging renewals to position products, rate levels, and expanded product portfolios to maximize revenue • Works with clients to identify their needs and utilize Aetna's full product array to assemble multifaceted packages • Manages integration of client's and Aetna’s internal organizations and partners cross-functionally to complete sales, installation, servicing, and product development activities • Coordinates sales materials, testimonials, and subject matter expert involvement to support constituent and finalist presentations • Identifies and capitalizes on emerging marketplace trends and represents Aetna at community and industry events • Collaborates with account management to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities and support post-sale activities • Accountable for overall Sales Planning, Distribution Channel, Sales Processes, RFP & Quoting Process and participates in senior-level discussions

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience working with large and complex National Accounts • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Master preferred, or equivalent work experience • Health & Life licensed • Persuasive presentation skills demonstrating value and moving client to purchase • Ability to successfully negotiate with internal/external clients to achieve profitable wins in market • Complete understanding of business financials, products, and services • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience a plus • Ability to explain process elements and organizational issues in sufficient detail • Preference for qualified candidates in the Central time zone
