• Provide daily service support to the existing customer base in New Zealand and assist in the rest of Australia when required • Support sales growth, service growth, and customer satisfaction • Proactively manage customer interactions to achieve exceptional satisfaction, first-time fixes, increased instrument throughput, and decreased downtime • Close service calls accurately and manage escalations according to established procedures • Manage re-certifications for ISO audits and maintain high audit standards • Meet and exceed individual revenue goals, including growing Field Service Maintenance Agreements • Generate new equipment leads for the sales team • Manage personal expenses and maintain accurate car boot stock inventory • Drive continuous improvement, daily management, and monthly KPIs • Identify opportunities to offer additional services, reagents, consumables, and new equipment leads • Partner with the sales team to support business growth
• Degree or equivalent in Biomedical / Electrical Engineering • At least 5 years of prior field service experience in related field is preferred • Desirable knowledge of Flow Cytometry, Liquid Handlers and Centrifugation • Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Highly computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office product range • Understanding of customer perception and associated business impacts • Commercial capability to resolve customer issues rapidly • Ability to manage call escalations, identify, own, and track account issues according to call escalation procedure
