📋 Description

• Respond to alerts and incidents and perform root cause analysis according to defined priorities and SLAs. • Execute changes (GMUD) at predetermined times according to the defined implementation plan (PI). • Report and escalate unsuccessful or recurring alerts to management. • Configure, monitor, and optimize database instances on AWS, including Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB. • Install, configure, and parameterize Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. • Monitor instance performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize performance. • Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability. • Implement data backup and recovery strategies. • Maintain scripts and stored procedures to automate tasks and ensure data consistency. • Manage database scalability using auto-scaling and dynamic provisioning. • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate databases with applications and systems. • Provide technical support and resolve database-related issues. • Execute procedures and create or update documents in the knowledge base. • Create environments, perform migrations and upgrades, and apply patches.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal communication skills. • Advanced knowledge of at least one DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL). • Knowledge of AWS Cloud. • Schedule: Night shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday to Friday. • Education: Completed or currently pursuing a university degree. • AWS public cloud certifications. • Database certifications. • SQL query tuning. • English: Able to write and read emails and documentation, participate as a listener in meetings and training sessions.
