📋 Description

• Ensure the smooth operation of the supported application systems • Handle service requests and incidents, including analysis and resolution of issues • Contribute ideas for system improvements, optimization, and automation of existing applications • Develop systems further based on business, technical, and regulatory requirements • Collaborate closely with other mainframe systems engineers, business analysts, and the client’s operations teams • Create detailed requirements, specifications, and program code • Test and document program code

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with software tools such as: IBM ISPF, IBM IMS/DC, IBM CICS, IBM RACF, IBM TWS/OPC, IBM RD/z, Compuware FileAid, Compuware Xpediter, Atlassian JIRA • Experience with IBM Job Control Language (JCL), COBOL, and SQL • Optional: IBM REXX, PL/I • Databases: IBM DB2 for z/OS • Operating systems: z/OS (OS/390 - MVS/XA), Windows • Good German language skills (minimum level B2) • Strong teamwork and communication skills
