📋 Description

• Overall responsibility for Finance and Controlling • Conducting annual financial statement and balance sheet analyses and deriving concrete recommendations for action • Managing and optimizing internal accounting systems (DATEV, Candis, etc.) • Structuring and optimizing the invoice receipt workflow, as well as processing accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices • Defining and optimizing internal processes, particularly travel expense reimbursement and procurement • Managing payment transactions and maintaining banking relationships • Preparing detailed financial analyses and developing measures to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve transparency • Supporting executive management with financial modeling and the development of strategic business plans • Continuously developing and optimizing controlling processes • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and producing corresponding reports • Creating financial models and business plans for new business areas in close collaboration with executive management

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration, specializing in Controlling, Finance, or Accounting • At least 4 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting, ideally in a fast-growing startup environment • Structured, meticulous, and goal-oriented approach to work, with strong planning and organizational skills • Experience establishing and structuring cost centers and cost objects • Sound financial knowledge and experience preparing business cases, business plans, and financial models • High level of reliability, precision, and sense of responsibility • Fluent German and English, with strong negotiation skills • Initial leadership experience as a team lead is an advantage • Nice to have: Experience with educational and training providers (AZAV), knowledge of the education sector, and/or practical experience at providers of (IT) professional training
