📋 Description

• Ensure invoices from subcontractors and suppliers are checked, coded, and processed correctly • Track costs at a per-job and company-wide level so we always know our margins • Produce timely management accounts and cash flow reports that allow the directors to make informed decisions • Safeguard our cash position by managing our debtor and creditor ledgers — including our 22-day billing window with insurers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 3–5 years’ experience in a financial analyst or management accountant role • Strong experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas • Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements • Practical experience supporting month-end close processes • Strong understanding of job costing or project-based accounting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills • Comfortable in a fast-moving, growing business where processes are still being built • Professional qualification: CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent • Experience in the insurance, construction, remediation, or property services sector • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) • Experience supporting a business through rapid growth or operational change • Previous experience as a fractional or portfolio finance professional
