📋 Description

• Act as the bridge between Product and Engineering within an Agile delivery framework • Partner with Product Managers, Developers, QA, UX, and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into actionable user stories • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and product requirements • Gather, analyse, challenge, and document business and user requirements • Translate Epics into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and analysis documentation in Jira and Confluence • Refine and maintain the product backlog and support prioritisation • Analyse business processes and user workflows to identify product improvements • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Collaborate with Engineering and QA throughout delivery • Work across multiple Agile teams to ensure consistent requirements and successful delivery • Identify and mitigate delivery risks and manage stakeholder expectations • Perform and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Use product analytics and customer feedback to identify future improvements • Contribute to wireframes, user flows, and lightweight prototypes • Support customer discussions, technology research, and cross-functional product initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within a SaaS software environment • Experience working within Agile Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle • Strong experience gathering, analysing, documenting, and refining business requirements • Proven experience translating business needs into Epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Confidence to challenge assumptions and think independently • Experience using Jira and Confluence or similar Agile tooling • Strong Business Analysis experience within B2B Enterprise SaaS products • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams • Requirements elicitation, process analysis, and user journey mapping • Writing high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation • Backlog refinement, prioritisation, and working closely with Product Managers • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Product, Engineering, QA, UX, and business teams • Experience analysing business processes and translating complex requirements into deliverable work • Quality Analysis and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is beneficial but not essential • Scientific software or Life Sciences experience is advantageous but not required
