📋 Description

• Design, build, and iterate on AI agents that automate platform operations, including infrastructure bootstrap, incident diagnosis, runbook execution, self-healing infrastructure, and PR-review bots • Own the AI-agent lifecycle, including prompt engineering, tool/function-call orchestration, evaluation, and production monitoring • Identify and eliminate repetitive workflows across CI/CD, environment management, access provisioning, and change management using AI • Support the Kubernetes platform on AWS EKS, including environment hygiene, security, cluster-level tasks, updates, anomaly detection, capacity recommendations, and automated remediation • Maintain developer self-service paved paths and actions through Cortex • Monitor SLOs and error budgets and use Datadog metrics, traces, and logs to improve reliability • Develop platform services supporting Data, CI/CD, and Security operational excellence • Maintain service scaffolds and templates encoding testing and telemetry standards • Generate and validate configurations against platform baselines using AI • Collaborate with DevX, SRE, and Product Engineering peers to build AI-powered golden paths and developer self-service workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, including AWS EKS, and cloud-native AWS architectures • Demonstrated experience building AI agents or agentic workflows that autonomously perform operational tasks • Experience replacing manual workflows with AI-driven automation • Experience with GitOps using Argo CD and CI using GitHub Actions for multi-service systems • Strong coding skills in Go and/or Python • Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or custom agent architectures • Prompt engineering experience for production systems • Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for team and customer needs • Experience with service mesh and traffic management patterns is a plus • Hands-on contributions to developer productivity insights and observability for cost-aware engineering decisions are a plus • Unable to provide visa sponsorship or immigration support for this position
