📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead during presales, engaging customers to understand business objectives, technical challenges, and transformation goals • Design and present end-to-end solutions across public cloud, hybrid and multi-cloud, enterprise infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, modern workplace, backup and disaster recovery, and cybersecurity • Produce solution designs, project scopes, resource plans, and cost estimates • Deliver customer presentations, architecture workshops, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements • Support project delivery teams to ensure solutions follow agreed architecture, governance, and best practices • Collaborate with account managers, delivery teams, vendors, and strategic partners • Produce solution proposals, architecture diagrams, bid responses, and implementation documentation • Stay current with emerging technologies, cloud innovations, networking trends, cybersecurity developments, and vendor roadmaps • Contribute to managed services, go-to-market offerings, reusable solution frameworks, and sales enablement materials • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience designing enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Solid understanding of hybrid cloud, cloud migration, modernisation, and digital transformation projects • Experience designing networking solutions including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and network security • Knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or similar technologies • Experience with identity, authentication, and access management solutions such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, or equivalent • Good understanding of cybersecurity principles including Zero Trust, endpoint protection, identity security, SIEM, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance • Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or CloudFormation • Understanding of cloud governance, cost optimisation, licensing, and commercial considerations • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and solution design skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Presales Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role • Experience delivering customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution design engagements • Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting bids, proposals, and customer presentations
