📋 Description

• Own the visual and interaction design language across the entire elearnio learning platform • Turn product concepts into wireframes and build-ready design files with states, edge cases, responsive behavior and interaction detail • Own and maintain the design system, including component library and tokens • Design to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards • Run design QA with the QA team to ensure shipped work matches designs • Run customer interviews and usability tests to support discovery and validate concepts • Build deep product and corporate learning and development domain knowledge • Write microcopy in English and ideally German • Grow into driving design-led topics from proposal through concept • Collaborate with the Head of Product, product team, QA team and customers • Push back on unsuitable proposed approaches and own design solutions within defined problems

🎯 Requirements

• Several years designing complex, logic-heavy B2B or SaaS products • At least one product shaped visually over a longer period • Strong visual craft in typography, hierarchy, spacing and information density • Fluency in a modern design tool, including building and maintaining component libraries • Comfortable designing for localisation across 15 languages • Ability to design in German and English • Responsive and mobile design experience, including phone-only users • Ability to run interviews and usability tests and turn findings into design decisions • Fluent English • German good enough to run customer interviews is nice to have • Experience designing within an established product is nice to have • Experience with multi-tenant products and customer branding is nice to have • Portfolio demonstrating visual and interaction craft in a complex interface and reasoning from problem to shipped result • Willingness to work as the sole designer and own the full product design function
