• Drafting and negotiating contracts (including change management) and overseeing contract execution • Claim management, including negotiations with clients and contractors • Preparation of contract-specific risk analyses and assessments • Steering and controlling projects in cooperation with technical project management • Restructuring, steering and control of troubled projects • Ongoing project controlling during execution, including developing solutions for construction-related and contractual issues of specific projects • Participation in the preparation of cost estimates • Support in tender/procurement processes • Establishing and implementing effective commercial project management practices and developing efficient cross-project collaboration
• Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience • Knowledge of contract law • Knowledge of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and the BGB (German Civil Code) • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Structured thinking and an independent working style • Business-fluent German; English skills are a plus
