📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable full stack applications and microservices • Build modern front-end experiences using React and/or Angular and back-end services using Java and Spring Boot • Own complex features, services, and technical initiatives end-to-end from requirements through production support • Provide technical leadership for architecture, code quality, scalability, performance, reliability, security, maintainability, modernization, and developer productivity • Write maintainable code and promote automated testing, code reviews, clean coding, secure development, observability, and continuous improvement • Troubleshoot complex production issues across application, integration, infrastructure, and data layers • Participate in a shared on-call rotation and improve operational readiness, monitoring, documentation, and support practices • Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with architects, product partners, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions • Contribute to technical roadmaps and team-wide continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships • Strong Java and Spring Boot backend experience • Experience with REST APIs and microservices • Strong Angular or React experience • Full stack ownership across frontend, backend, database, deployment, and production support • Solid SQL and database skills, including query writing and application/database integration • Lead-level architecture and design ownership, including HLD/LLD, service boundaries, API contracts, scalability, reliability, and tradeoff reasoning • Production support and debugging experience, including root-cause analysis, monitoring/observability, and corrective actions • Technical leadership experience including mentoring, code reviews, design reviews, reusable patterns, engineering standards, and delivery guidance • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Agile delivery experience including refinement, estimation, sprint planning, demos, and iterative delivery • Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines • Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and deployment automation • Observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry, or CloudWatch • Event-driven or integration experience with Kafka, JMS, SQS, or REST-based integrations • API and security experience with OAuth2, JWT, TLS, secrets management, secure coding, and vulnerability remediation • Experience in financial services, retirement, banking, insurance, healthcare, or regulated enterprise environments • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent professional software engineering experience is acceptable • Evidence of skills through work history, project outcomes, or interviews; skills-list-only evidence is insufficient
