📋 Description

• Provide production support and automation for financial services production processes • Schedule and produce EASY applications in compliance with regulatory requirements and client SLAs • Perform technical triage to diagnose root causes and implement resolutions within SLAs • Liaise between Systems Application Support and EASY development teams regarding software defects and their severity/impact • Create, schedule, and monitor back-end applications using CA Workload Automation/AutoSys • Respond to service ticket requests from business users, developers, and clients • Lead or support strategic initiatives for mitigating back-end application issues and process automation • Monitor EASY Workload Automation and production performance of back-end processes • Mitigate program failures and escalate major system issues • Investigate failures using the EASY code base and databases • Communicate production issues and risks to development teams • Coordinate with Bangalore counterparts and adapt schedules as production continuity requires

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, including Information Systems, Mathematics, or Software Engineering • Minimum 4 years of experience providing production support for back-end transactional processing systems • 3 years configuring and monitoring program execution in a workload automation tool • 3 years providing technical support for enterprise software in a customer-facing role • Knowledge of technical troubleshooting methods • Knowledge of workload automation systems • Knowledge of UNIX, including shell scripting with C/Korn and Perl • Knowledge of back-end system processing, databases, and programs • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL • Ability to analyze system issue trends and recommend solutions or mitigations • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues • Ability to troubleshoot system-critical program failures quickly and efficiently • Ability to write user-friendly explanations of technical functionality • Ability to work alternate schedules as production continuity demands • Reliable high-speed fiber, cable, or DSL internet with a wired connection for remote work • Adequate home workspace with limited disruption
